Where Have I Been In The World?

Amazing Travel Moments

In Egypt in the desert at night, it was so bright from the moon and just a stunning landscape. And the sand with the wind made this soft rain like pitter patter as sand particles hit canyon wall and each other, just surreal and felt like you were plopped down in the book Dune. Something felt very comforting about the entire atmosphere. We were climbing a dune at one point and the sand was shifting and the noise made this tranquil vibration humming that was just amazing. One of the coolest experiences of my life.

How strong a Thai elephants trunk is, it is scary, I hope I never have to fight one. Unless it is missing it’s trunk.

How amazing something can still be even after you have seen so many pictures of it, in this case the Eiffel tower. Plus sharing it with someone who only further amplifies how romantic Paris it. Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world, people are so nice!

Notre Dame and the big church in Galway and how stunning it must have been to see those structures so long ago. Hard not to believe in God when you see a building like that in the 1300s or even the 1700s.

The food from everywhere is hard to top (especially bread). The curries in Thailand are about a million times fresher then anything in the USA, and the best food I’ve ever had. Fresh Mangos in Thailand and Mexico. In Greece drinking retsina, a delicious greek salad, greek bread with real butter, and a skewer of lamb. In France some creamy dish that probably had 4 sticks of butter but tasted like heaven. Paella in Bracelona served on a skillet with seafood and sausage and delicious. How delicious falafel can be in Amsterdam. Guinness, blueberry monk wine, sangria, and Jamison in Ireland. Wine in France and Spain that costs a few euros, yet is amazing. German fish sandwich with the scales still on, or any German sausage. An Irish or English breakfast, sure it might kill you but it sure tastes good on the way out. The most delicious chicken sandwiches at a small bakery in Puerto Rico. I ate about 8 of them. Real Peking duck in Singapore, absolutely amazing as well as the turtle shell desert I had later (plus an awesome host to show me around Sing). Amazing Indian curry in Singapore too, eaten off banana leaves. Cuban food in Florida, and hopefully one day in Havana.

The color of the ocean in Greece, and how fucking cold it is in March to jump in. Plus the nice people laughing at me who let me change clothes in their house being remodeled.

The maze that is old school Fez, and eating mystery meat while walking past cow and other heads on open stalls. Plus the amazing clouds of flies that looked like smoke eating those.

Everything in Hawaii. Christmas dinner in Nice France. Drinking rum on the roof of the building in Belize. Cheap beers, great views, and raw fish in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Drinking at Phibbers with friends, Phibbers is the most amazing pub in all of London.

Running with/away from the bulls in Spain. Adrenaline rush! Plus running into people from the university of Arkansas while we were there by random chance.

St. Lucia, the mix of indian and island food as well as everything on that island, amazing ocean and my first time to ever snorkel and see everything under the water. Reef sharks included.

Going to snake alley in Taiwan (deep fear of snakes), watching them knock this huge snake out, cut it open, drain blood out, pull its sex organs and liver or something out, then make a shot concoction out of all three items and snake skin. Doing 3 shots of snake blood, alcohol, sex organs, and something else along with my brother and mom. Then realizing the snake was alive and still moving after all this. And the most priceless is the look exchanged with my brother on day two of peeing bright neon yellow two days after doing the shots.

This is bwb’s personal blog so he can spout random nonsensical bullshit. Plus family and friends can track the digital nomad and what he is doing.

I am a pretty simple. I love Mangos. I love the beach, although mostly at sunset as I’m a ginger. I strongly believe the most desirable women in the world is Meg Ryan, followed closely by StarBuck of BSG. Some people find this questionable but I feel sad for them. I love to travel, eat exotic food, read, and use my imagination. I like business ideas, understanding how businesses work, and building cool new things.
